Tuba and I meet at the CIES lounge at the end of the day. We sit until they kick us out and then walk to my car and I drive her to her apartment on Ocala Road. Generally, we talk about our days and what we are going to do for the rest of the week, TOEFL exam. She is more and more confident speaking with me, initiating topics of conversation, "Kristen, tell me. How was your weekend?"
She has invited me over for coffee in a few weeks and the next time we meet I will time her for the 45 second speaking sessions to prepare for her exam on the 3rd.
Glad she is opening up!
