Alrighty time to catch up on my blog. I am not used to blogging so, sorry.
I met up with Edda last Tuesday because Latifah had been sick. Edda and I spoke about our trip to the ballet and other possible outings that we could do on the FSU campus. We then spoke about what we did on Halloween and how she enjoyed carving her pumpkins. She bought the wrong type of light to put inside and instead of a steady white light is was blinking different colors. She thought it was pretty funny and it turned out even better. Every one loved her jack-o-lanterns. Her daughter dressed up like Snow White and was just the cutest little princess I've ever seen. She showed me pictures of her daughter at day care. I really enjoy speaking with Edda because her english is pretty good. She does make pronunciation mistakes every so often and I correct those right away. Also, she has some trouble with the past tense which I have also helped her on quite a bit, like when she is telling a story. This meeting with Edda was kind of cut short because other students came in and took over the conversation. She left shortly after because I think she was a little uncomfortable with the subject they were discussing. I would appreciate if when other people came in to rooms where people were chatting they let them carry on their conversation and/ or joined in keeping in mind what should not be brought up in a conversation where controversial discussion is not really appropriate.
It's cool that they celebrated Halloween this year! That does sound like a funky pumpkin!
