Victoria CP 5

On Thursday I met with Latifah and she brought me pictures of her artwork on her computer. We spoke about the different methods she uses and the different materials necessary for completing her art. She is probably one of the best artists I've ever seen. She uses mosaics, oil, pencil, watercolors, and ceramics. She uses the most vibrant colors and all her pieces of art have a wonderful flow about them. For our next meeting I will be taking her to the art museum on campus. I wish I could be able to see her artwork when I wanted. I have a few of them etched in my brain and I hope their images don't fade. I am really impressed with her speaking since we have started. The first day she barely opened her mouth and now she is making a real effort to be able to speak and communicate what she is thinking. I really appreciate this since I was a little afraid that she would be too shy. I like talking to her about art since it is something that she is very passionate about. She is more inclined to talk about things she knows about and has strong feelings for. Looking at her art is incredible and I am so disappointed that I can barely draw a stick figure. Oh well, I guess my ship has sailed for my career as an artist. I suppose I'll get by somehow. :)
